These are pictures from Spring Break. We went to Portland for a few days. First we went to the fish hatcheries on the Columbia River where you can feed the fish and see the great big sturgeon.

We also went to a new aquarium in Portland where you can touch various fish and feed them. There is even a place where you can feed some tropical birds.

Roen and Leo had a great little league baseball season. It was sometimes a family affair with Dieter umpiring and me doing the stats.

We also had our end of year award ceremony. Roen got a few awards-one was a pleasant surprise (picture) in math. Leo got several awards, but we were most proud of his Gold Presidential Award.

Roen's 9th Birthday! We had a turtle cake and a pinata, and lot's of cousins to celebrate with. Roen got a transformer and a bunch of Schliech animals for his birthday.
